This sport is established in Islamic Republic of Iran by Grand Master
Hossien Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) who is one of the Martial Art Masters and pioneer of Kong Fu Toa in Iran.
After passing the needed steps, General Administration of Athletics of Tehran issued permission for starting Wushu activity as TaiChiChuan and self-defense in responsibility of Grand Master Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) in 1987.
TaiChiChuan after Grand Master Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) suggestion, which was confirmed by the Professor of Athletics University and Tarbiyat Moalem University and was agreed with General Administration of Athletics, was considered as self-confidence and TaiChiChuan society with the management of Grand Master Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) in 1989.
In 1991 the Iranian society of Wushu and TaiChiChuan, under the patronage of the National Olympic committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran became a full member of the International Federation of Wushu (IWF) and in 1992 joined the Asia Federation of Wushu (WFA) .
In the same year , the Iranian National Wushu team had its first official participation in the International Wushu competition in shanghai and Grand MasterDavoodi Panah (Dadashi) claimed the Gold Medal .
Grand Master Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) currently heads the central committee of Wushu in Iranian Federation of Martial Art and he is the chief instructor and supervisor of TaiChiChuan and ChiKong in Iran .
Grand Masater Davoodi Panah (Dadashi) continuously struggle and by cooperation training organization in 1993 in chinese sports committee established that new names were Martial Art subsequently Federation. In the long run in 2004 was choice Mr. Behzad Katiraei by Wushu Federation chief in Iran.
